It was hard to find, even in search engines, but acting on a fan tip off, us super-sleuths at the Nest have finnally managed to track down the official Piers Anthony web site.

Piers is an author of long standing and is probably best known for whisical Xanth series - a light hearted fantasy series set on a magical world connected to present day earth (and historical earths) via a dimensional gateway.

Terrible puns abound, but the novels are suprisingly addictive.

He's also knocked out more than a few science fiction works, of which the tops has to be his Bio of a Space Tyrant series charting the rise of a young chappie as he goes on to become the ruler of the solar system.

What about his site, we hear you cry? Well, there's his Ogre's Den newsletter, updating fans on the comings and goings of his writerly and personal life, plus a very complete bibliography.

Other highlights include a Xanth character database, Xanth family tree chart and Xanth timeline.

The links section is a bit of a let down though - just a few links to Xanth fan sites. Still, it keeps us in business as the main sci-fi and fantasy search engine, so we shouldn't complain.
